Add Microsoft Virtual Machine Bus Network adapter" in win 7 that is a boot from VHD
Hi,
I would like to add a virtual NIC in a Win 7 that is booted from VHD.
Is it possible? And if so, how?
Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum.
I would like to ask why you want to add Virtual NIC. Is there no network adapter in Windows 7?
The Microsoft Loopback adapter is a testing tool for a virtual network environment where network access is not available. You could try to install this for test:
1.
Type
hdwwiz.exe in search box.
2.
In the "Welcome to the Add Hardware Wizard", click Next.
3.
Select "Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)" and click Next.
4.
Scroll down and select "Network adapters" and click Next.
5.
Select under Manufacturer "Microsoft" and then under Network Adapter "Microsoft Loopback Adapter" and click Next.
Hope it helps.
